The second presentation of the evening unveiled the new ship-class of Celebrity Cruises; the Solstice-class which is currently being built by Meyer Werft Shipbuilders in Papenburg, Germany. In an extraordinary effort to design and build a ship that is client-friendly, Celebrity Cruises engaged a panel of five "Celebrity's Leading Ladies" consisting of a frequent cruiser, a travel agent, a travel writer, a hotelier and a lady that was “considering” a cruise, to give their collective insights and recommendations relative to the stateroom design. Results show the improved stateroom flow, made possible by a larger stateroom size and Celebrity's new interlocking technology. In an industry first, Celebrity Solstice will feature an adjoining stateroom design with a double set of doors, allowing guests to open up the space for families or friends traveling together. Additionally the Leading Ladies’ influence can be seen in aunique class of veranda staterooms called AquaClass; an oceanside retreat created for guests who are most passionate about pampering and spa amenities.

The 3-part series of educational cruise nights continues on April 3^rd with a presentation on Norwegian Cruise Line and the final presentation on May 22^nd with an introduction to Amadeus Waterways that will focus on river cruises in Europe. Both presentations will be held at the Holiday Inn Airport and Convention Center from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
