CHARLESTON, SC - Mike and Diana Bogart of Cruise Planners held their third educational cruise seminar at the Holiday Inn Airport and Convention Center on Thursday, May 22nd, featuring Amadeus Waterways, the leader in the European River Cruise industry.
“Bringing Europe Closer To North America” was the theme of the event that introduced river cruising as an alternative to not only ocean cruising aboard large ships, but also to land travel when exploring a foreign destination. In addition to focusing on the great cities on the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal, a representative from Amadeus Waterways also presented new ships and unique river cruise itineraries in Russia, Portugal and Spain.
Mike Bogart opened the evening with a warm welcome to over 30 clients and guests attending the event; many of which attended all three seminars in the educational cruise night series. Soon thereafter, Kathy Brock, sales representative with Amadeus Waterways, was introduced and started her presentation by highlighting the many advantages of river cruising over other forms of vacation travel including: one-time packing and unpacking of suitcase; docking in the center of the great cities of Europe; shore excursions included in the cost of a river cruise; complimentary wine with dinner; complimentary internet service in each cabin; and the outstanding comfort and service that travels with the passengers on state-of-the-art river boats.
In a second part of her presentation Kathy Brock addressed the benefits of selecting Amadeus Waterways over other river cruise companies in the industry.
