The question does come up in most conversations I have regarding cruises.  So many think that if they go direct to a cruise line they will get better priceing.  No true

1. A cruise line cannot offer you a price lower than you can get from a travel agent.  We get paid from the cruise lines and work on commission.  Our pricing will be the same.

2. Cruise Planners is a franchise of 800 agents.  Our corporate office has the buying power to purchase group space on many cruise lines and cruise dates.  They purchase when the prices first come out.  As you get closer to sailing date prices do increase.  If you go to the cruise line today for a group we have locked in prices months ago.  We will be less. 

3. The cruise line is not going to call you and tell you a price went down.  If the price goes down prior to final payment, we get your price reduced.

4. You know who you will talk to when you  call and have questions.  Cruise lines are on a clock and are limited to the amount of time they can stay on the phone.  We work for you and we are here as often and as long as you need us.

5.  We work for you and we are your advocate.  When something goes wrong we represent you and not the cruise lines.

6. We do the research for you and can explain the choices available for you and make recommendations.  Not every cruise ship is for every person and we help you select the right one.
