The Big Island
The island of Hawaii is called the Big Island with good reason. It's more than twice the size of all the other Hawaiian islands combined. And every inch is covered with lush scenery, from rugged volcanoes to waterfalls and rain forests. It's home to the steaming craters and hardened-lava rivers of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where you can stroll through a giant lava tube! You can also be a volunteer on vacation and help preserve a native forest. If volcanoes are not your type, try to visit Kona, where coffee is a way of life. Almost 180 years of harvest history can be found, and tasted.

Maui
The second largest Hawaiian island, Maui is known for its numerous beaches, rain forests, waterfalls, eucalyptus groves, and even unique cattle ranches. Don't miss the view from Haleakala, the largest dormant volcano in the world. Travel magazines are always calling Maui the world’s favorite island, and all the great golf courses and beaches might have something to do with that. The moonscape of Haleakala, the road to Hana, Molokini Crater and charming Lahaina may have something to do with it as well. Maui’s Hookipa Beach Park is the place to be if you’re a windsurfer. It’s also
the location for the annual Aloha Classic Wave Championships. Catch a wave yourself, or catch the view atop the park’s steep cliffs.

Hollywood ha used Kauai as a filiming location dating back to “South Pacific” To keep the island the way it is, they came up with a rule that no building can exceed the geight of a coconut tree.
