Puakea Golf Course
Approximate Duration: 5 1/4 hours
Par 72, yardage 5,225-6,954, slope 113-135. Imagine playing golf with the Pacific Ocean stretched out before you and Mount Haupu towering above. Designed by Robin Nelson, Hawaii's most prolific golf course architect, Puakea plays around deep ravines and over streams fed by fresh mountain rains. Nelson's masterful architecture clearly conveys the routes one should take to achieve textbook pars. However, those more daring will be tempted with hints of ways to achieve glorious birdies and a truly memorable round of golf. Note: Greens fees, cart rentals and roundtrip transportation to and from the course are included. Tee times at these beautiful professionally designed courses are limited and therefore are non-refundable once booked.
Par 72, yardage 5,544-7,101, slope 114-138 Just a quick 5-minute shuttle ride from port of Nawiliwili awaits the courses at the spectacular Kauai Lagoons Golf Club. Featured are holes that bear the unmistakable signature of their famed creator, Jack Nicklaus. Wide and inviting fairways entice aggressive play but strategically placed sand bunkers and water hazards will eventually remind you that you are up against one of golf's greats. Throw in the majestic mountain views, lush exotic foliage, including a drive through a mango laden forest, and it all adds up to a truly unforgettable golf experience in one of the most beautiful and tranquil places on earth. Note: Greens fees, cart rentals and roundtrip transportation to and from the course are included. Tee times at these beautiful professionally designed courses are limited and therefore are non-refundable once booked. The Kiele course is currently undergoing renovation on some of its holes. Holes 1, 9, 10, 14 and 15 are being replaced by equally challenging holes on their sister course, the Mokihana.
Par 72, yardage 4,810-7,034, slope 114-136
Golf on the slopes of Mauna Kea, 2,000 feet above the Pacific in a beautiful mountain environment. Rolling fairways and numerous water hazards make this a challenging course for all levels of players. The curved bent grass greens are in excellent condition and the signature par three, 17th hole, features a true island green. Big Island Country Club is at a higher elevation than other courses, so don't forget some warmer clothes. Note: Greens fees, cart rentals and roundtrip transportation to and from the course are included. Tee times at these beautiful professionally designed courses are limited and therefore are non-refundable once booked.
Par 72, yardage 5,067-6,875, slope 117-134
Enjoy one of the best views of the spectacular Kohala Coast from the new Hapuna Golf Course, an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay design. This 18-hole championship golf course is nestled in rolling natural foothills that go from the shoreline to about 700 feet above sea level. Note: Greens fees, cart rentals and roundtrip transportation to and from the course are included. Tee times at these beautiful professionally designed courses are limited and therefore are non-refundable once booked.
Par 72, yardage 5,242-6,698, slope 118-140
The mountainside Makalei Golf Course sits in the protective lee of Hualalai Mountain amid a forest of silver oak and Ohia, a tree native to Hawaii that thrives in lava rock. Ranging in elevation from 1,950 to 2,850 feet, Makalei is the second-highest golf course in all of Hawaii. Famous for its smooth-rolling bent grass greens and panoramic vistas of the Kona-Kohala Coast below, Makalei's terrain requires thoughtful club selection. Still, only four holes are uphill. Seven play downhill, including three stunning par-threes. Note: Greens fees, cart rentals and roundtrip transportation to and from the course are included. Tee times at these beautiful professionally designed courses are limited and therefore are non-refundable once booked.
Par 72, Yardage 5,383-6,913, Slope 120-136 The South Course, renowned as the former home to the annual Senior Skins Game from 1990-2000, snakes through the stark, rugged a'a lava of the prehistoric Kaniku lava flow. Besides great golf, the course offers a panorama of mountain and ocean views. The South Course is also home to No. 15, one of the most photographed over-the-water golf holes in the world. Note: Green fees, cart rentals and roundtrip transportation to and from the course are included. Tee times at these beautiful professionally designed courses are limited and therefore are non-refundable once booked.
Maui Golf Courses
Par 72, yardage 5,024-7,039, slope 115-135 Carved out of the rugged coast, the Challenge at Manele sprawls across ancient lava fields, with 180-degree ocean panoramas from every hole. A theater of color unfolds: red cliffs plunging down to blue sea, green fairways engulfing white sand traps, and blossoms from fissures in the black lava rock. This was the palette of designer Jack Nicklaus, who shaped the 7,039yard, par 72 championship course, carefully protecting and preserving the archaeological ruins within its borders. Teeing off from the cliffs at Hulopoe Bay with the Pacific surging below, you face perhaps the world's most unforgiving water hazard. The 12th hole is nothing short of a leap of faith, with 200 yards of churning waves to cross. Other holes demand shots over yawning ravines. Fortunately, the five-tee concept - with courses of shorter yardage mapped in red, white, blue, gold and 'Nicklaus' - allows golfers of all levels to emerge unscathed. Check the Golf Pro Shop for alternate transportation to Lanai. Note: Green fees, cart rentals and roundtrip transportation to and from the course are included. Tee times at these beautiful professionally designed courses are limited and therefore are non-refundable once booked.
Par 72, yardage 4,768-6,841, slope 114-136. The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course is laid out 'much like Royal Troon,' according to course architect Robin Nelson. It was here that two ancient volcanoes met to form Maui, "The Valley Isle." The terrain upon which The Dunes is built is prime, unspoiled linksland featuring million-year-old alluvial sand dunes. Holes weave up and down, through and around 60-foot-high sand dunes located in the heart of central Maui. Note: Greens fees, cart rentals and roundtrip transportation to and from the course are included. Tee times at these beautiful professionally designed courses are limited and therefore are non-refundable once booked.
Red - Par 72, Yardage 5359, slope 115. White - Par 72, Yardage 6098, slope 124. Blue - Par 72, Yardage 6570, slope 130 Kahili Golf Course is one of Maui's most panoramic golf courses. Carved out of the foothills of the scenic West Maui Mountains, it boasts unbeatable views of Haleakala Volcano, as well as both the north and south shores of the island of Maui. Designed by Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright in 1991, the golf course has undergone extensive renovation for improved playability. All 18 greens have been resurfaced with TifEagle Bermuda grass and every bunker has been reshaped and filled with beautiful white sand. Each of the 90 Club Car golf carts are outfitted with a Prolink GPS systems. Note: Green fees, cart rentals and roundtrip transportation to and from the course are included. Tee times at these beautiful professionally designed courses are limited and therefore are non-refundable once booked.
Par 72, yardage 5,579-6,882, slope 121-127 Set in the gentle hillsides of "Upcountry" Maui, Pukalani Country Club overlooks the Pacific Ocean and offers breath-taking panoramic views of the Valley Isle of Maui. The course is nestled at the 1,100 foot elevation level of world famous Mount Haleakala, an extinct volcano whose name in Hawaiian means "House of the Rising Sun" and is appropriately reflected as the golf course's logo. This par 72 course plays to 6,882 yards from the championship tees and features 19 greens in its 18-hole layout. The par 3 third hole offers the choice of a tough into the wind shot to a green across a ravine. A challenging alternative is a shorter shot downhill into a ravine to a well-bunkered green hundreds of feet below the tee box. No other golf course in Hawaii can offer you this unique setting and challenge. "Pukalani" which in Hawaiian means "Heavenly Gate" certainly describes Pukalani Country Club! Note: Green fees, cart rentals and roundtrip transportation to and from the course are included. Tee times at these beautiful professionally designed courses are limited and therefore are non-refundable once booked.
Par 72, yardage 5,489-7,014, slope 130-138. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., and sharing the spirit that embodies the Makena Resort, the South Course provides the serenity and tranquility many golfers are looking for. With its natural rolling fairways, undulating greens, and breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains, the South Course is a favorite among many Maui golfers. Note: Green fees, cart rentals and roundtrip transportation to and from the course are included. Tee times at these beautiful professionally designed courses are limited and therefore are non-refundable.

The course encompasses over 280 acres of magnificent tropical forest and is one of the most inspiring courses you'll play anywhere in the world.
