REFUNDS:
Refund requests must be in writing and accompanied by all travel documents issued. Refund processing time is approximately four (4) to six (6) weeks after sailing. Credit card refunds must be refunded to the card originally used. A $25 administrative fund will be kept.
INSURANCE:
Insurance is highly recommended and may be purchased at time of booking. Insurance will cover for cancellations caused by unforeseen circumstances. If insurance is bought within 10 days of initial deposit all pre-existing illnesses are covered. Insurance is calculated on total amount of the cruise and age. Insurance will be offered with booking confirmation. A form will be sent accepting or rejecting the insurance. Insurance will not be added until the form in received by the agent.
Full insurance payment would be needed within 10 days of deposit to cover pre-existing conditions. Insurance is purchased separately.
NAME CORRECTIONS:
Verify names and information on your initial confirmation. Name substitutions are not permitted without the approval of Cruise Line. Name substitutions are considered reservation cancellations. Provided that cruise lines approves a name substitution, it will be assessed a cancellation fee according to the “Cancellation Information”, if it is made within the applicable relevant period. If a name change is made to modify the spelling of an existing passenger, that requires reprinting of documents, a service fee of $50 per person mayl be assessed for each such change.
CABIN ASSIGNMENT:
Cabin assignments require a full deposit. Cabins will be assigned when full deposit is received and will be subject to availability. If cabin location is important, making full deposit ASAP, will help you get the cabin you desire. Should deposit be made and there is not a cabin assignment available, the cruise lines will make the cabin assignment prior to sailing.
It is very important to understand that by confirming a request for space, as opposed to a request for a cabin assignment, which is described above, the cruise lines guarantees confirmation by category, not by cabin location. THE CRUISE LINES RESERVES THE RIGHT TO RECLAIM SPACE WITHOUT NAMES AND CONFIRMING CABIN DEPOSITS (“UNSOLD SPACE”) AND ALL GROUP ALLOTMENTS AT ANY TIME.
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP:
Proof of Citizenship: Proof of citizenship is required for all passengers. A driver’s license is NOT proof of citizenship. Either an original or certified birth certificate or a passport is required to embark. A passport is required for International air and therefore is the preferred proof of citizenship by Cruise Planners. Cruise Planners is not responsible for any passenger without correct documentation for boarding. Cruise Planners is not responsible if someone misses the ship and is unable to get on a flight to catch up with the ship without a passport.
