Turkey & The Greek Islands by Sea
Aboard the 34-Guest, Golf Yacht Callisto

8 Nights / 4 Rounds
9-18 September 2009

Along the sapphire shores of the Aegean stretch some of the world’s most exquisite and intriguing golf courses. Our voyage to these sporting designs takes us to the crenellated coasts of Turkey and the Greek islands, where classical ruins, ancient myths and refreshing swims await us. Aboard our 34-guest Callisto, you will play courses so fantastic that few have even imagined they exist.

In Antalya, Turkey, enjoy golf at the National Golf Club, a David Feherty creation, and at Cornelia Golf Resort, where Nick Faldo’s new layout has been recognized by LINKS Magazine as the best in Turkey. Both courses are extremely stunning and challenging. On the island of Crete, home to the fabled Minotaur, the tumbling elevations and daring holes of the Crete Golf Club contribute to its premier ranking among Greek courses and in the picturesque Greek town of Kalamata, Robert Trent Jones, Sr., handcrafted the much-heralded Navarino Bay course.

Touring schedules throughout the voyage are highlighted by visits to Antalya, built on a cliff top overlooking the Mediterranean; Perge, with its great stadium and colonnaded marble streets; the island of Santorini, known for its wild beauty; the fabled medieval squares of Rhodes and Knossos; and finally to Athens for a tour the Acropolis, crowned by the majestic Parthenon, which symbolized harmony, stability and intellect.
